It’s Dr. Seuss Week in Grade 1 and 2!

Dr. Seuss was one of the most popular American writers and illustrators of children’s books of the 20th century. He created many wonderful characters that have had a great influence on generations of children around the world.

To show our respect to this great writer, all the first and second graders and teachers in SHSID celebrate a whole week called ‘Dr. Seuss Week’ to encourage all of our students read more of Dr. Seuss’ books.

Monday was ‘Hat Day’, to celebrate one of the most famous books from Dr. Seuss, The Cat in Hat. Everyone brought a funny hat to school, made ‘The Cat in Hat’ craftwork and watched the cartoon movie of ‘The Cat in Hat’. It was such fun! All the children are looking forward to the coming interesting days.
