上海中学2007届校友唐云清于当地时间2022年10月3日被授予2022年度SASTRA拉马努金奖(SASTRA Ramanujan Prize for 2022)，以表彰她在算术几何和数论方向取得的显著研究成果。

SASTRA拉马努金奖评奖委员会主席、美国佛罗里达大学数学教授Krishnaswami Alladi在颁奖词中指出，唐云清的研究成果显示了复杂技术的非凡组合，她开创性地将以模曲线与志村簇为核心的代数及几何方法结合起来，并与Srinivasa Ramanujan在模方程领域的发现有着密切联系。

（Dr. Tang’s works “display a remarkable combination of sophisticated techniques, in which the arithmetic and geometry of modular curves and of Shimura varieties play a central role, and have strong links with the discoveries of Srinivasa Ramanujan in the area of modular equations”.）

奖项介绍

拉马努金奖（SASTRA Ramanujan Prize）是为纪念印度著名数学家拉马努金而设立的奖项，由位于拉马努金故乡贡伯戈讷姆的Shanmugha文理工研究院（简称SASTRA）所颁发。该奖项自2005年起每年颁发一次，授予在拉马努金的研究领域中作出杰出贡献的年轻数学家。
