Here at the Science Club, we actively participated in science experiments related to Chemistry and Physics. The first experiments we did were chemistry experiments; we observed the reactions between different elements and compounds. We watched the teacher, Mr. Zhuang, combine small amounts of Potassium (K) with Water (H20) and observed the sparks and violent reactions as well as Sodium (Na) and Water (H20) which produced relatively less violent, but still relatively interesting results. Several compounds were also mixed with unique results. The most spectacular experiment, was the burning of magnesium (Mg) which produced an astoundingly bright light. After a quick demonstration lead by the teacher, students enjoyed doing these experiments themselves as well as creating others by mixing different elements (under the watchful eye of Mr. Zhuang). These experiments have lead us to understand elements and compounds more in addition to working in the lab. Club Leader : Alex
